I have been doing some research on this deal. WHOLEY COW!! There is so much about the company, the owner(s), and all that other stuff that it is unbelievable! Plus the stuff that has been posted in our little family forum from you who have had issues with her/RDK.
Yes, she did start another online company, and she did name it extremely close to another company which I have dealt with. That person has been sending out information stating that she is NOT in any way associated with Cindy/former RDK and has apparently set in motion some legal action. And apparently there is a "group" of reborners that are getting together on the internet to fight against her and what she has done.
I just googled her company and got all sorts of stuff. I would not want to be in her shoes. Poor woman has done her self some damage this time.
But so now we all know not to order from her/her company just in case the situation continues.

 

Yeah, I buttered her up to get my Raine kit.  I even used the word "cry", although I was being honest.  I just let her know how much I wanted the kit, that it was my very first kit, and how stressed I was that it hadn't arrived in more than a month.  I mean I was really feeling that way, so let her know.  With all her so called "Christian" feelings (yeah, I used that word too) she finally relented and sent Raine to me.  Unfortunately she didn't send the order as described.  At the time I ordered the site said she would be sending the eye (he only has one open eye), and I paid extra for the body to be assembled (not knowing any better). I didn't get the eye nor the assembled body, just the unassembled parts with no instruction about how to put the joint things together.  When I called her on it she sent an instruction sheet (too late - I'd already messed up the joints, and they weren't the right ones anyway), she said just because the kit mentioned an eye would be included with the kit what it really ment was it was just a description of the kit.  I wrote back and agreed it was a description of the kit as I was to receive it, but I never heard back from her.  I just let it drop 'cause I wanted to be done with her.  She is NOT a nice person, is dishonest and takes advantage of people.  I don't know how she stays in business - must be she gets orders from those first timers, and then they learn their lesson the hard way.  I really hope she gets what she deserves soon with all the people calling authorities on her.  Did you know she has the worst possible rating with the BBB (Better Business Bureau for those of you outside the US).  Avoid this lady at all costs, no matter what name she calls herself by.

I hope she likes your letter Ash. You'll have to keep us posted. BOL

on one of rdks comments a someone says that  she didnt expect for it to be shipped do fast after she asked .............,,,,,,,,,,,,and under it says She just happened to ask-not because she asked).....remember asking slows us down.)

I am glad your order is coming and since you are a young one, let me tell you that the best message to send a business with horrible customer service is to STOP BUYING FROM THEM! When they lose customers they will get what bad business ethics deserve...no business! I hope you will chose to spend your money where you will be appreciated and shipped out fast like Secrist, BB, DBS, etc. Others have Secrist kits, so you don't have to go with Secrist site for his kits.
I wish Secrist would get on the Paypal wagon. I cannot order from them anymore because I won't charge. I use my PP and they won't take that there. I get my Secrist kits from elsewhere.
I just saw a picture of Secrist Teddy on DC and he's a cute kit. Looks like Rosie's brother, LOL! Teddy must be an older kit as I don't see it now.

My hubby went through the same type thing trying to get some things for his little airplane. The company was the only ones making these parts and he HAD to have them. Well, to make a long story short... we kept contacting the company till they would no longer respond, I told him we needed to let our credit card company take care of it. We finally got refunded 6 mos later but at least we got the refund. It was $3800.00! The company was using everyones money and not shipping goods till they got more people's money.

So good for you Uma on keeping on her. Wish that tv news segment you watched on her was on utube so we can see it! Would be interesting!

She's going to e-mail it to me. I can post it on the other forum.

Update...the funds were credited back to my account today...YIPEE!!!!!!
