So I have a problem, there is NOTHING online on how to calculate how much hair you need, or anything other then a 4imch barbie ratio vs monster High calculation on a 36 inch shank/sank (however you say it) I am trying to root a 17inch doll kit by the name of Mila, my problem is that I purchased 1 synthetic weft kinda small thinking that was enough as I was told it would be, well that is enough for a barbie cutting it into 4 sections, so I go back and buy 2 more as this person told me "well if it didn't hold one then it won't be no more than 3" I don't want to have to keep stopping and starting on my project as that creates the notion to not complete it more and more..
Anybody know how much hair I will need? It's 10 by 10 if u measure up and across or 17 inches fully round in a circle. I know 100 square inches is about 40 of the 36" i piece sank/shanks that you cut into 4 pieces used for barbie
I'm dying over here and I have 2 kits to complete and ready to do it I just can't get the hair amounts right for Miss Mila so I know I won't get it for a doll about 8 inches bigger then her. Mind you it's 2.5 weeks in between each new order I placed that Mila has to wait disassembled In Pieces sprawled out everywhere. Haha
She already had hair but it's custom correcting I could call it so I removed old blonde and were adding ginger red, no dolls have red hair anymore and it saddens me but is good business as almost all of my dolls are red hair redo requests but I'm not good with toddlers. Hand me a baby and I can eye it but a toddler doll um.. it's so much more then what I'm used too.
