Toning down blue undertones on finished reborn
Permalink

I am a reborn artist but still buy from other artist . Recently purchased Rosalie and just loved her warm skin tone in her photos . sadly when she arrived I noticed she has more of a blue purple skin tone , but thought maybe it was the indoor lighting . Even outdoors especially compared to both a fair and AA skin tone baby she still had that bluish tone . What really convinced me was when my friend asked me why she looked blue !
i took photos compared them to the listing photos and sent outdoor pics to the artist just to ask her if this was her style of painting a darker baby ? And to ask if and how I could warm up her skin though I do not want to strip her paint and start over . I already have a new Rosalie kit I havent made.
its just a shame , the painting , eyebrows , & combo hair are all very good.

i really don't nit pick since I am far from perfect having only started a yr ago this Dec

but i do have a good eye for color and haven't seen a real baby this shade before unless it just came out of the birth canal.

Ive added some pics, The photos shown include the listing photo which is the 1st pic, taken by the seller .and what I saw when making the purchase. she has a light pink hair band. The other photos were taken during the day with only sunlight to show all the reborns color. i wanted to share some of the other babies in my collection as comparison. i would welcome constructive advice or any solution that doesnt involve stripping the paint. I love her regardless, she is now named VIOLET

thanks so much
