As far as "white" thinner, I'm not sure what you are referring to. Is it actually white, cloudy, or actually clear?
Also, you should only be adding not more than 40% thinner to your paints otherwise they may not become permanent after baking. If you go to the top of the forum page you will see the word "search". Click on that word and then type in your subject. It will bring up all the topic threads in our forum, then just look through them to see if there is already an answer to your questions.

As far as the paint leaving white spots, this is usually a case of applying too much to the doll part. Our paints are made to go on thin but if you get too much paint on you may get the dreaded "chalkies" when it is baked. You can also use "search" to find out more information for this.

Also... what type of heat-set paints are you using? If you are using the AR paints, then the reason you may be having issues is because they already contain thinner and do not need more. Let me know.
