I am trying to do eyebrows on a blonde baby. I have the Genesis premixed brow brown, but that looks too dark. Could I lighten it with a flesh tone? I have all colors of prismacolor pencils but trying to draw on my "practice leg" the pencil is hard to mark on the vinyl. It does look easier than painting if I could get it to mark. HELP!!
I have the brow brown too and you are right, it does look too dark in the jar. When I put it on my pallet it was lighter but still too dark for my taste. So I mixed just a pin tip or 2 of flesh 08 and mix. Apply sparse brows, then bake. Then I go back in with blonde brow in between the brown, then bake. Then I take just the smallest amount of flesh 08 and do highlight brow hairs.
On your practice leg, try applying a very thin coat of matte varnish, bake, then try using your prisma-color pencils.
Oh yes... did you try typing in eyebrows in the search box at the top of the page? There are a few threads in there.
