Hello Newborning family biggrin

I am new to this craft and have been introduced to it by my daughter who wants a  baby doll for her birthday. I didnt like what I saw in the toyshops so have decided to give it a try myself. This kind of thing is right up my ally.  I am amazed by the professional craftmanship I have seen on this website.  I have put in an order for the level 3 starter kit plus upgrade, the advanced dvd, paint starter kit and a few other smaller items.  What concerned me is that I have no idea what the shipping costs to South Africa are.  I have read on your FAQ that the cost could be as much as 100% of the order.  Is there any way of getting an estimate ( I understand it can't be exact) on UPS to my country.  I apologise for using the forum but I havent had a response to my emails and I'm assuming they have been marked as spam.  Please could someone help.  The total cost of the order is $360

Hi hun and welcome to our family forum. We're glad you stopped by. I believe there is a Secrist dealer in So Africa but not sure what her business name is. You may want to google Secrist Doll dealers in your country. They would be able to tell you (probably). I think it goes by weight also, but I'm not positive.

Otherwise you could try the UPS website but I think you would have to know either the weight and the size box it ships in. I wish I could help you more but I'm not really knowledgeble in the International shipping. If you ordered outside your country there could be "customs fees" also. If you ordered from the dealer in Africa, their prices may be higher than our website prices because they have already paid the customs fees to import their stock and it has to be added somewhere.

So I know this is a lot of information, but I hope it has been helpful to you.
