I ordered light brown when I should have ordered ash blonde. Serves me right for being too lazy to double-check my supply drawer. I could return it to BB, but I won't lose out on return shipping if I can find a new buyer.
This is a little under .5 oz of Ruby Red dark brown straight mohair. It came with my starter kit and I haven't used it since sparsely rooting my original BB Teagan head. It's virtually as new in orginal packaging: https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/sarahelizabethii/Personal/Frankenbabies/th_100_1562.jpg $10 shipped in USA
HUMAN HAIR
I picked up this package of human hair on a whim at Sally's Beauty Supply. I liked it because it was very shiny and soft, but the strands turned out to be much too thick for infants' hair. Might work for older dolls, or for practice rooting: https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/sarahelizabethii/Personal/Frankenbabies/th_100_1493.jpg
It's a pretty brown with highlights of reddish-blonde. The package has been opened but none of the hair has been used -- I haven't even removed it from the cardboard backing. Measures 9-10".

Couldn't edit, so I'll repost....sorry for the mess...
SURI ALPACA
Dark strawberry/light chestnut baby alpaca hair from Plum Crazy Ranch: photo here
Not much shine, but the texture is finer than anything I've used thus far -- it almost feels more like feathers than hair. I'm guessing this is about 1/4 oz, maybe a little more. I purchased 1/3 oz and have used two of the original seven bundles to sparsely root a newborn and a preemie.
I'm selling because I bought two shades of alpaca fiber from Suri Hill last week and discovered I've virtually duplicated this color.

PREMIUM MOHAIR
This looks like a hot mess, but it's dark brown premium wavy mohair from the Lowell Country store. Dark brown, probably between 1/2 and 1/3 oz: the whole bundle one wavy section
As you can see, it's clumped together but not tangled. Makes nice biracial hair when cropped short.
sample rooting: 1 2 (click here for a photo of rooting with a much lighter shade of identical mohair)
