We have waited to be grandparents for a long time, our son is 36 he and his wife have no children together but he helped raise her sons who are now adults, our daughter is 23 she gave us our pride and joy, I wished our son had a child of his own but it wasnt meant to be our  daugther in law is diabetic and has had 4 back surgeries and will have her 5th on the 8th of this month, they were in a bad motorcycle accident about 8 years ago so she can't carry a baby they are thinking of adoption, our daughter is adopted, but I really don't think they will because they can travel anywhere and do what ever they want, they have their 3 furry children lol.

It's nice to be little :D And my youngest daughter Amanda will be 22 on the 20th! I'm also glad she's here. She almost wasn't! I was told I couldn't have any more kids after my first child was born. So 13 years between them. They are both miracles! And... I have waited 56 years to be a grandma and my oldest Daughter Dani is giving us our first grandchild, a little girl. They will name her Mara Tess. I will drive out to Denver on Apr 9, she is due Apr 12.

Its going to be hard to leave her when I have to go back home. I know my daughter is going to try to get me to move to Denver (again). But I'm a Minnesota girl! hahaha. Luckily I have a few other friends that are long distance grandparents so we comizerate a lot.

I finally got to post about being a grandma on facebook, but only because she has private posts now. She has lots of drama in her life. I posted in all caps! lol

One of my friends cries for a few days when her grand daughters go back to WA. So we go to the DQ! MMMMM
