I have had a change of heart about trading my bb partially painted Paisley kit.....after all it is a girl's prerogative to change her mind right? Plus I think pretty soon I may decide to actually give finishing her a try. I have been too hard on myself in the past, and always strive for perfection. After joining this forum I see it isn't about that, it is about a growing and learning process. Sometimes one is really gifted at something right off the bat, then other times it is practice that makes all the difference. I won't say practice makes perfect because I don't believe anyone can ever achieve perfection. We are always growing and learning and attaining new levels of greatness in my opinion. But there are certainly some wonderful examples to strive for coming along all the time!
Anyone who doesn't think that reborning dolls is an artform is nutty. It is the same thing as painting a beautiful oil painting of a baby, with the exception that it a three dimentional study which has the added benefits of such realism that it can be held and cuddled even. To me these are ultimate art dolls.

I think IMHO that if you haven't gotten made a deal with anyone yet on selling/trading your Paisley, that you should keep the kit and work on it. I agree with what you have said. It IS and artform, and you grow with your work. It does take practice for most reborners, and yes, it's always a learning experience.
I give you credit for not giving up this one and we would love to see your Paisley in the AS when you are finished! Kudos to you hun! Welcome to what reborning is all about! :)
