I am wondering if it would be possible to change the default for listing messages to "newest first" rather than "oldest first". I mean, when I get an email that there is a new post and I click on the link it always takes me to the oldest message and then I have to scroll all the way down to the message that was just posted. Okay, it is no biggie I guess, 'cause all I have to do is go down one page and click on "newest first" - but wouldn't it just be easier to automatically have the newest message on top of the list? Also, it would be great to have the date of the messages as well as the year so you know what is current and what is old.
Okay, unasked for suggestion , but I love this site and get on it all the time. Perhaps everyone else likes it the way it is, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to mention it.
Thanks for the suggestion. You may want to check how things are on your end and see if you can change yours. I too have the first to last postings but I have the date the messages were posted on mine. I set it in my settings. Just click on your name and see what you can find hun. There is also a setting to show how many posts, ect. See what you come up with hun :) In the meantime, I'll see if I can get in and change the order of posts. Might be only the webmaster can set it, but I'll see what I can do. I think it's this way in a few other forums I'm into also :0
Ok, I checked in mine and I went to the top of the page where it says search, user details, etc... I clicked on user details, then settings. It brought up a page under my name that has all the info you can change. Just go there on your account and it does have a setting for first/last, time, show e-mail, etc. Just set it how you want it. At least I "think" everyone should have that. Let me know. If you do I think it might be individual just how "YOU" want your information to be displayed. If you change anything, don't forget to click save at the bottom of the page! :)
