Question about Bink
Permalink

I just got the Bink sculpt.  This is a beautiful sculpt.  Anyway she looks like a bit of an older baby you know like a cuple of months.  Should I go lightly on the molting.  Because I have noticed that when a baby is newborn it has the transpersy skin but when they start to get older it gets more solid.  Should I paint her diffrent that I have my other reborn dolls?

You are right. She is an older baby. Usually when I paint her I do more of a peaches-n-cream complexion, very light on the mottling. You can still do the inner wash and all the rest as it gives depth and realism, but yes, I would go lightly on the mottling.
She is sculpted by Stephanie Sullivan (if I'm not mistaken) for Secrist Dolls. :)
Love to see your version in the artist showcase when she's done!
