hiya, i was just wondering if you can tell by the size of the head what size body you need.
i bought an Abigail by Oliver stone kit on ebay, it was from a lady who was selling up her stuff, i did email and ask her if she knew what size of body it needed and she said she didn't.
just wondering if anyone could help with this.
thanks Carol x

hiya June, im not sure of how you measure the items, i took a peace of cord and measured the legs from the big toe up and the same with the arm, then measured them on a tape measure they measure around 7ins each. the head i measured like you would a baby's head and its 13ins approx, hope this helps i thought about 17 or 18 ins body?
thanks Carol x

The head measurement is more like a 19"-20" doll or 20-22" because a 22" doll would wear a 13/14 wig usually. But measure the leg from the heal up to the top of the leg, not from the toe (and are they full limbs or 3/4 limbs? That would make a difference too)! Yep, I say show us a pic in the showcase!
Hiya, the limbs are 3/4 and they bend lol, if the doll makes a 19 inch/ 20 inch doll, i know this may sound stupid to you experienced reborners but do i need a 19/20 inch body or a smaller one to make the whole baby up to 20 inch .

The Body is classed as a 20" but it only measures, 9.5 inches top to bottom, leg caps about 3.5 length and accross, arms,3X3 inch in an unmade body pattern, so seams are usually 1/4 inch. If you add head leng, body length and leg length you should get 20 to 21 inch Baby, hope this helps. XXXXX You can order a body from Secrits or BB to suit so you can see what we mean. That way you will have an idea of the size of bodies required. XXXXX June.

I would go for a 20in ch body, there isn't that much difference, by the time you put the body beads and poly fill in it will take up the length... XXXXX June.
