disbelief I am always amazed at some of the weird questions I get from people.  I don't want to be rude at all- but my first thought was uh-no... they are Secrist eyes already nicely placed by Secrist- and why should I pay for another set and also tear the doll apart for no more money- she is already a very reasonable price.  Anyone out there run into things like this?  Oh brother!hmm

I personally wouldn't go that far. I would nicely let her know that if she was interested in a baby with different features that you would be more than happy to make her the baby of her dreams if so wanted to commission one from you. JMHO

Yes i thought of that-doing a custom order. Good idea. Oh and I also told her that several people had the doll on "watch" which means they are potential buyers for the way she is. I was very nice in my note back.. I want to keep pleasant business interactions.

Yes, I like Tina's reasoning.
Or if the woman won the doll and wanted them changed you can also let her know that there is a fee for changing the eyes because you have to take it's head off and ...
All you have to say is it's an "involved" process. I would be more than happy to change the eyes out for that fee, which now makes the doll a "special order" item which is under no circumstances returnable/refundable should she not care for it. :)
Lots of ways around it.
