I heard one lady call it the "relist merry-go-round". Besides Ebay, what are options for selling these babies? I feel like the "reborn middle-class"- Not a $1150.00 outstanding, magnificent replica of a perfect newborn- and not a $20 used how many times or not done so nicely reborn. I am "new" granted, but I have very - 100% positive feedback, I use top-of the line products, brushes and techniques, I truly put my heart into making a quality baby- one that I would be proud to display in my home! I posted a few here on the forum to see. I guess I am looking for selling options. Any of the veterans out there have suggestions? THANK YOU!!
I know exactly what your talking about. It's a hit and miss there and on the misses you feel just awful thinking something is wrong with your work. It's not, I have a 100% feedback as well and several of the are for my babies I can't figure it out myself. I have heard some ladies use Esty but I don't think they're having much luck there either. It's not a known as Ebay for one. Others take them to doll shows and craft fairs and some just take them out...LOL andway I think the key is just exposure and patience to establish yourself in the reborning community. Also when selling online, you know what they say...a picture is worth a thousand words...so photo skills are a must. Sadly thats my biggest downfall!

I'm the same as Tina, Doll Shows, Fairs, taking baby out and the last one I sold was at a arts and craft festival, also One at a flee market, we have every Sunday over here in Oz. Even if you dont sell, take Cards and display your babies, hold one as if it was a real baby and offer them to feel the weight. That sometimes helps. Point out the time it takes to paint and mostly the time Rooting and the Patience to do it takes. XXXXX JUne.

Great ideas! I ironically sold one last night! YEH!!!! I have been on vacation and go back to work next week. I think looking at Ebay toomuch-so like the watch-pot never boils. Once I am back to my normal routine I think all will be fine. I like the idea of business cards and also learning how to put lullabys to my auction templates. Thanks ladies!
Congrats on selling a baby last night! I always carry business cards with me. I have them made at Vistaprint.com. They're good quality and cheaply priced. I have been with them for over 10 years now. And you can get freebies too!
I know a lot of people that won't even explore an auction if I has any kind of music on it or those little floatees that move all over. it's way too distracting to the auction itself. Check out some of the big sellers that get megabucks for their babies. I don't think any of them have music for their template. But its all personal preference.
Congrats on your sale! I know personally when I get to an auction with music I usually click back...mostly because it freezes and slows my computer. Like Pat said though it's a personal preference.
