Rooting through already glued head
Permalink

Okay I am going to try and explain this the best way I can!... Let me know if don't sound co-hearant..

I finished my reborn Raven's hair oh about several months ago, I had a question could I root more hair on her head even though I secured the hair that's already there on her head with Aleene's tacky glue?

Would love your opinions, I have looked around and did a search here on our forum but I problem either didn't type in the right thing I saw looking for OR I just over looked it.. And I hope that I didn't do another topic again! thank You for all and any advice!

Yep Jodie you sure can! I've done if a few times before. I may be a bit tougher to get your needle through in some areas but take your time and you should have no problem. Just poke far enough through to past the glue already inside and when your done reglue is again to secure the new hair. Let us know how you make out!

How would it be if you heated the head again, it would soften the glue and the head at the same time. By using the rice sack, heated in the microwave with a glassof water so as not to burn the rice ( 3mins ) XXXXX JUne.

I didn't think about the rice sack.. Do you think if I heat the rice sock warm enough that it would stay hot longer? She's got 2 or 3 spots that seem to be a little bare and I just thought even though she is a preemie that she should have hair in those spots cause she does/doesn't look quit real enough with those visible spots. Thanks ladies!!! Your help is leading me down a path that I think will be successful!!!

It only needs to be in there for 3 mins and then as it cools you reheat. I would fill in the spots. XXXX June.

Ok, that would be great. Be sure to put them in the artist showcase if they're pics. Otherwise if they're links you can just put them in here :)
