Question about rooting thin hair

I think if you are new to reborning, it is more likely to have just there hair if you root with wavey or curly hair, with straith hair, I think it has to be more evenly rooted, so is a little more time consuming than doing it with the other two choices. JMHO. XXXXX June.

I had the same problem when I started out. I takes some patience but you can achieve a thinner hair look. I found two things that helped me. One to space out your hair a tad bit more and being careful to only catch a couple of hairs at a time when rooting. It takes time and like I said patience but you can do it =)

you also need a 42g needle and at times you may have to pull out an extra hair the needle has grabed. sage aww

Thats wonderful! Blonde hair always seems to look thinner when rooted.

I found on another forum how one reborner uses a dark colored fine hairnet, puts it over the head and then ties the extra off in front of the face. Then she uses the holes in the hairnet to space where to put the needle for rooting. Her babies rooting looks really good! I might have to try this. One thing... remember to remove the hairnet when you are done hehehe

I always have had problems with rooting too densely also. Looking forward to seeing your baby when rooted, Kristi.

i hope mine comes out half as well, i did get some baby hospital bands from the hospital when i took my eldest 19 in......kidney stones.the nurses sister in law up north does reborning too. sage aww

Pat that was a terrific idea about the hair net, I will try it soon as I finish a few of my new kits. I can't put of reborning any longer, Sam knows how many I have now. LOL, He's usually on my case, when am I going to do this or when am I going to do that, I'm like Zanes two pet snakes, I'm in hibernation. LOL.. It is starting to warm a bit so No excuses. The other thing is, I have a caravan to fit out and put vinyl on the floors, curtains to make and Foam to get cut to size and make Seat covers. We are having new doors made and 2 packed, and a table and benches to put in. Luckily the outside only needs a good washing and polish. And another thing, I have to paint the outside of the house, but it's all in a days work, another LOL moment for me. XXXXXX Jun e.

Oh Pat, I know where your coming from, today I had 12 small trees to plant and I decided to weed abit also, I almost made myself sick, doing so much. Luckily Samantha has taken over part of my project with the caravan, so I went to help her and had to get into the little tipper we have and find some screws I trow into it, well bending over looking, I nearly passed out.
