This is very deep waters for me..only other sculpting I've done,use to sit in a private museum(California)..done 30 years ago..and it was all abstract art..I use to do also a lot of acrylic and oil painting...shhh..(mainly all nudes) when I got out of the Marine Corp in 1971-1977..lots and lots of them..why not..I was a nudist then..but don't practise it now.
I was extremely good with details...but that's so so much different than creating 3D objects...half of me says do it..the other half screams out: Don't you dare!!!

I say give it a go! I think you'll be great at it especially since you have some background in sculpting. I'm still timid to try and yes the money's and issue as well to get supplies, but someday I want to give it a try myself

smile   when i started reborning i bought rescue babies from thrift stores so no worries right but my first kit teriffied me.....so worried i'd mess it up.......all that potential i could ruin......lol anyway with everyone heres help i finaly jumped in.Go FOR it.                                        sage   aww

How detailed are you thinking of getting with your sculpting anyway, if I may ask?
