I personally do not use the eyebrow pencils.   I originally purchased the pencils from Michael's before Secrist carried them, and the softness is the same.  I agree they are difficult to sharpen to a point.

I prefer to use the eyebrow brush to apply paint.   I feel I have more control using the paint and the paint brush.

I noticed Secrist now has Bleed-Free Eyebrow pens: http://www.secristdolls.com/inc/sdetail/81864

I have not tried them yet.  Has anyone else?

Linda

I wonder just how thin the point is...I think there may be a bit of a risk for me..since they are perm makers and my hands are not steady at all...I may just buy 1 very soon...no guts no glory..

I checked it out too and that was my thoughts exactly. If you make a mistake I guess your stuck unless it doesn't set right away and allows you time to wipe it off, but I seriously doubt that.

They appear to be the Pigma pens and I have them for my drawing in jewelry class. If they are the smallest (which I don't think it says) they are .003 which makes a very thin line. Since they are pigmented (like the heat set paints) the colors will be like blue and red, set VERY quickly. If I were to use them, I would make sure I had a cotton tip of acetone right there and not waste any time removing it.

My left hand shakes so I'm not going to take any chances with them on my babies. I know they are fabulous for drawing/writing though. I too, like Linda, like the thin eyebrow brush and will paint them on or I will use the prisma color pencils.
It's up to you kiddo!

Yes they do, and if you don't press real hard they will stay sharp for a while.
