My questions are do you do as much mottling and blush work on the torso area as you would do on the face and limbs?..

I do not see so many full vinyl body reborns offered as I do with the cloth bodied babies, and why is this so?

Oh, Yes you paint it just as you would you head and limbs. Flesh, veining, blushing, mottling. I always wipe smooth any paint that would not have "pores" like the belly button, ect.

First, I think full vinyl bodied babies would most likely be more expensive.  Second, they are great to look at, but most people seem to love cuddling and posing the dolls.  Full vinyl babies (at least the ones that we've seen to date) are more rigid and not very huggable.

Most people put a cloth body on the doll and make belly and/or tush plates from the vinyl bodies.

You would paint the vinyl body in a similar manner as you would paint the other vinyl pieces.
