DVD to borrow/trade?

Does anyone have a DVD (or even a book) they would let me borrow? I don't know if there is a place to "check out" those kinds of things (like the library) or if there is a website with that kind of information. I have been umemployed for 7 months, and unemployment stopped almost 2 months ago. I have no foreseeable income, and can't justify the expense of a DVD.

I would really like to get some more information on painting (currently using ADP(air dry paints) only, as they came with the kits), rooting (a BIG need there to see that done) and weighting.

I just thought I would throw this out there and see if there was any kind of response. If not, I understand.

I do make some things out of Sculpey, such as bookmarks or jewelry. Maybe we could trade for it? Let me know.

It just means that I've bumped the post back to the top so it's visible. On some boards, when you type :bump: like that, you get an emoticon (ie, action smiley)

have you tried searching on youtube? I know it sounds silly but when I started I was in the same boat. So I searched and found some very good tutorials on youtube. I think there are a couple of Secrist ones on there as well. Sometimes it helps just to see a person going through the motions of doing it in order to get a better idea yourself on how its done.

I'm looking at this online, and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on it. I need to know if it's worth it.

they have that oneone cd sage? I haven't seen it yet but I'll keep a look out. I think that would be great I learn better by visual myself =)

I can totally identify with the plight of unemployment.  It one of the scariest experiences in life to not know where the next dime is coming from.  And dimes don't buy things like DVDs and expensive books.

I've never seen that particular book or DVD so not sure if it's a must-have, but would like to know how it compares to the Secrist rooting DVD.  Does anyone know?
