Bald or root?

Hi there!
I just was hoping to get some opinions about a doll kit I just bought. I purchased a Bo-Elle kit by Adrie Stoete and I am debating whether to leave her bald, give her sparse hair or a full head? The reason I am so confused is because she is a 28" doll so she isn't a newborn and I don't know what that size babies hair looks like? Thanks Everyone!

At that size/age, they are considered toddlers. Most have a pretty good head of hair going on by then. Can you post a link here so we can go see what she looks like? Even just a link to her blank kit would help. But I'm thinking probably hair several inches long and on the way to being kid sized thick.

You might want to google up toddlers and then click on images. That should give you some help too. :)

Here is a link to her picture. i am hoping this doesn't violate any link posting rules. i apologize in advance if it does.

Thanks so much for your response!

(So sorry to have had to remove the link as it goes to a competitor website.  For those looking for the doll, you can search online for the doll (Boelle + Stoete)  Or, you could attach the photo in the Artist Showcase section of the forum.  Wish I could have kept the link.  Linda)

I would think at 28 inches it would put baby somewhere around the size of am average size one year old. By a year like Pat said most baby's have a head full of hair.

I would root because it is an older baby.  It doesn't have to be thick hair because I've seen older babies with thin hair--especially if they were born bald.

I would do a light colour hair and sparsely..for if you used darker hair you will need to root a lot of hair..or it would look odd..that's just me

I think you'd need a full oz of hair for that head. But she is definately such a cutie! I think she's going on my list of wants! Adrie does some absolutely awesome sculpting!

I would probably do her with medium warm brown or some chestnut hair. And I love the just trying to curl hair the artist used on her. Looks more realistic. Maybe they used wavy/curly hair, it's kind of a mix. But you could do that not real sparse but kind of. Or maybe with the German no barb needle.
