Okay so I'm ready to cry. I have a Hailey kit I bought from DD and painted some layers. Then I did some blushing and now he's all red. I've tried to highlight him to tone it down and make it less noticable but that didn't work. I tried a green wash and that kinda helped but not really. Now he looks too pale with red blotches. I also think he is butt ugly so I'm at a loss for any inspiration of how I even want him to look. As you can see I've already decided to make it a boy because in my mind I cannot see this being a girl. What can I do? I tried to do darker blushing and it just doesn't seem to matter. It's like he's pouting at me and won't change. I'm so frustrated I could scream! Here are two pics. First one was this afternoon and the second is after I even gave him two darker skin layers to get ride of the red. Nothingdisbelief

smile  emily it could just be the photos but he doesn't look that bad but if you realy don't like him strip him back, take a bubble bath ,enjoy a good drink and start fresh tomorrow .                            sage   aww

I know just what you are going through because I've done it myself.  After awhile it just seems like the more paint you add, the worse it looks. 

As Sage said, he doesn't look so red that he appears to be unnatural.  From the photos, he looks very real. 

I hate removing the paint with acetone to start over, but it sort of sounds like maybe you need a fresh start on him.

OMG! So sorry Linda about posting the pics, I forgot as I wasn't in my right frame of mind.hmm Thank you both. I'm going to put the pics in the showcase. I tried to relax last night but woke thinking what to do with him today. I'm heading to the gym to cool off. Hopefully after, I'll be ready to begin. Thanks for the support ladies.
