cable ties for attaching head and limbs

Hi Barb,
Doesn't your bodies come with cable ties? I know what you mean though. When I first started reborning I needed to get back into the body and didn't have any smaller headed cable ties, so what I did was use a nail file to file down the head to a nice small rounded size. I worked wonderfully! Took alittle bit of time but you couldn't feel it underneath. I know you can also buy the cable ties with the small heads and even rounded ones.

Secrist sells (or used to) the cable ties on their website, probably under accessories or misc. They should have 2 sizes, depends on what size doll you are working on. But Tina is right, all bodyslips should come with ties already.

Lots of people file down like Tina said. As long as the little metal tab inside the cable head isn't disturbed. That's what holds the end in to keep it tight. :)
