Hi Guys, I am now on my second bought vinyl baby and I trimmed the body down myself. The neck and shoulders will not hold the head in place now that the body is filled I have taken the neck apart again and tried to fix the problem but there is no where for the zip tie to get a good grip. Any ideas?? Do you think the neck ring will do the trick or should I buy another doll with a longer shaft on the neckpiece?? Please help!! Cathy

Cathy, I'm trying to understand... Are you saying that the neck has no groove for the zip tie to go into in order to hold the body? Is this a soft body?

Ok, can you put up some links to pics so we can see exactly what the problem looks like? Otherwise if you're just looking for another neck adapter you can go to dolls by sandie. She usually has Berenguer ones.
Hi Guys, I am not very good at explaining so I will take some pictures and show you the problem. I did see some tutorials on you tube last night though and one of them demonstrated the use of a neck ring. I think from watching that, that this is what I require so thanks Pat for the suggestion I will take a look at dolls by sandie and let you know how I got on. Just for information purposes it is a Peterkin vinyl doll and I trimmed the neck and shoulders to go into the soft body, the problem is that I cant get the head to attatch firmly enough and with a little handling it seems to fall off???? I will give the neck ring a go. Thank you guys you are soooo good on here your my lifeline :) Hugs; Cathy

I must be a thicky, too! I've never heard that term before. LOL. I'm sure glad you found the neck ring to solve the problem.
