Hi Heather! Congrats on the reception to your baby! Well done! You're off to a great start on marketing you babies! I took my first baby (Zoe Kit) to a very small restaurant to show my friends we were having dinner with and ended up getting an order for a baby from the restaurant owner! I sold another baby at a doll show, and also got lots of interest from people who took my business card so I hope I'll get more sales! I don't really have a nursery name, just use my own name and put "Reborn Baby Artist" under my name so people know why they have my card, LOL! I also did a craft fair, and although I didn't sell any babies, I did get a lot of interest. I carry a small notebook with me and if people are interested, I ask for their email address so I can keep in touch and send them pics of new babies. I don't have a website, and not sure that I want one. I'm not very computer literate and website upkeep seems to take a lot of time. Yuck. Someday I might try EvilBay, but I personally think starting on a smaller, local scale is way more cost effective! Since Christmas is coming (faster than we think!), I plan on putting up flyers with pics of my babies for sale at different locations (think grocery stores, coffee shops, etc). It's cheap advertising, only costs a little time and gas for car! I also plan on taking my babies (one at a time of course) to restaurants when I go out to dinner! Gee darn, guess I'll be eating out more often! Good luck! Even if you live in a small town, I think what you've done so far will be a great way to market for you! Hope this helps. Hugs, Melinda
