Orange Berenguer

Whenever I try and paint the base coat on  a Berenguer baby it turns out orange.  What am I doing wrong?ashamed.gif

Do a couple of mint washes first to get rid of the orange, you can do it a few times but make sure you do each coat thinly. XXXXXXX June.

You can also add the mint to you flesh tone paints and eliminate a couple of steps.

Light blue washes will also help, in addition to the mint.

The mint (or a toothpick tip of pthalo green added to your flesh 07) will correct the orangish undertone on the Berenguers. Otherwise Secrist has come out with a orange color corrector paint especially for kits like the Berenguers that have the orangish tint to them.

You're not doing anything wrong hun to make it that way, it just naturally is, right from the manufacturer.
