How or what do i do to get secrist limbs an asian color

Hi,
I am in need of help.I have an asian berenguer head and it had 1/4 limbs and i want to replace them with secrist 3/4 limbs but i have tried painting several layers of just yellow ochre but they are still not an asian color.
Is there something i need to add to the yellow ochre or what do i do i am so totally lost on this one it is my first asian i have attempted to reborn.
Hope someone can help.

The Asian skintone is not just yellow. Although it does have yellow tones in it, it's not composed of just yellow. Most skintones are a combination of colors.

This is Secrist's dvd for painting ethnic skintones  http://secristdolls.com/inc/sdetail/34890  Michelle does a very nice job of painting the Asian skintones. She mixes several colors together. It' would be to your advantage to get this dvd. You can click on streaming video clips below the picture of the dvd when you get to that page. That will give you an idea of the work she does.
