Heather, Pat B will be the best to answer this question as she is a teacher and admin for Secrists. I'm sure she will check all these posts and get back to you. Do you have the 2009 Tuturial, I am sure that would have a lot of info in it. I have only got 2008 and am looking forward to getting the new one. XXXXX June.

yes i have the new tutorial it has alot of good stuff in it. i want to learn what else is out there. i know i am just starting my first doll but i have been looking and reseaching this for a year and finaly planged right in. thanks for all the help in advanced.

i was wondering which dvds you found to be bestof the ones u have, because i have never before bought a secrist dvd and would like to get one.

i think all 3 are good each one gives a little more information the third one is the best.

I got the Secrist DVD "The Art of NewborningII Painting with Genesis Heat Set Paints. It's the best one. It takes you step by step thru the painting process. It's really all I needed for doing the painting. Everyone varies their way of doing things. And there is more to always learn. Trial and error. People will experiment with different sponges, berry makers etc. But, this gives you the basic idea.
And it's step by step.

The rooting one is good to have to refer to also. But then I have started to root from outside edge in and that seems to work for me. XXXXXX June.

I like the Genesis II and the beginner classroom dvd. Also the rooting dvd. I think those are the best ones IMHO
