hey well i've started my first baby :) but after adding the base skin tone and the blue mottling and red mottling im unsure of how to paint the lips :( thankyou xx
Depending on the paints you have if they are premixed or full colour. With premixed you use out of the jar, put on thinly and after they are baked, if you want them darker add a little more. If they are the straight paints that need to be mixed with oderless solvent, the still put it on thinly, and bake and again add more for depth. XXXXX June.
I use my blush color thinly. I find it easier to paint starting with the top of the lip drawing the paint in tword the mouth. Same on the bottom. Turning the head upside down to do the bottom. Using the filbert brush makes it easier too. And as posted thin layers. Watch not to get too much color on the lips. And shading in the middle of the upper lip and corners and blend. I use a flesh #7 for highlight. Just my way of doing it.
Whichever way you choose with the paints you have, make sure you put on only a thin layer as "less is more". If it's not enough you can always add another layer after you bake.
