Has anyone had a problem rooting the hair after the doll head came out of the oven?  Is the vinyl still soft enough for rooting?        Thanks for any comments.  Nancy

If the vinyl is too hard for your needle you can always use a rice sock to warm it up a bit. I've had the opposite problem before, the vinyl being too soft. I also used a rice sock for that only I didn't warm it up.

Remember when you heat the rice to put a cup of water in the microwave otherwise the rice will burn. XXXX Junne

If you are speaking of the Secrist vinyl, sometimes it can get a little more stiff but I have never had it to where I couldn't root easily. But I do like using the rice sock anyway.
