new paint and genesis combo?

Hi - Do you think these paints can be used together?  I like GHST for some things, but I have a tendency to get into trouble with too deep a red color.  I was wondering if I could use the new paints for just the blushing, on top of the genesis. ( I already have 2 of the new  blush colors that I got at IDEX when I took the 6in. doll class.)  There is also a new super shine remover that is advertised in the new catalog in the same section as the new paint.  Can I use that over the GHST? I guess I could try this on a spare part, but was wondering if anyone knows about this.   Geez, I thought the second kid would be easier. Ha (Can't wait to try my forked rooting needles) Thanks so much. Sandy

What kind of new paint? I know I got in trouble using different gloss/glazing gel products. One didn't adhear to the other. What a mess. And in the final steps. Poop.

The new paint is called "Authentic Reborn" Heat set paint and requires no "medium". There is an article about this posted by "Buffington" on the opening page of the paint section of the forum.  To me, it's almost like Genesis with a thinning medium already added, but no paint thinner required.

Thanks Rosemarie! She my latest. It's Lucy by Marissa May. She is only the 4th one I have completed. My first try at rooting eyelashes. It went well.

I have checked with the office and they tell me that the Genesis and the new Authentic paints are compatible.
