Can you tell me which color was replaced by Secrist in the Peaches and Cream complexion trio. I bought the Strawberry, which I really like and also the Peaches and cream when they first came out with these. I am using the Peaches and Cream color and the blush looks very orange as well as lip color. I think I have the ones that they replaced. Can you tell me which one it was please.
our original color was the peaches n cream. The second set was strawberries n cream. Part of the reason for the strawberry was the Berenguers and their orangy tone. But we also came out with an AA translucent vinyl so we needed another color to go with that.
Thanks Pat for your reply. What I was trying to say is in the Peaches & Cream trio, one of the colors I'm thinking the blush color was replaced. I got a message form the Secrist company explaining that Pat Secrist was not happy with the look of it on a reborn and that if you wanted it replaced...just return it for a replacement. My question since I kept mine was which one was it that was replaced, the lips - blush or wrinkles & creases? I was thinking it was the blushing color, just wondered because I may need to get the new color that replaced it. I am working on an expensive sculpt and don't won't to ruin it . It is a nutural color sculpt and the lip and blush look more orange than peach. Do I need to replace it at my own expense( I had the option to but didn't ).
OOOOOO I gottcha now! Sorry :o Ya, it was the blush paint from the peaches n cream set I believe. I am happy with mine so I won't be returning it. My babies come out just fine with it. But then again I don't do reborns with an orangy undertone.
If you got the message from them and didn't exchange it then, I suppose it might be at your own expense now. But they come as single colors I believe and you can just order the one you want. In that case I would just keep it instead of spending the postage and order the other one.
Hi Pat , thanks for that information. I have already used it and It works fine I don't do the orange vinyl kits so no problem. I used it on Julianna, by Tamie Yarie and it turned out beautiful. I gave her a Peaches & Cream look , had to tweak it a bit to tone it down some, but all in all , nice!
