Are the palms of the hands supposed to be red all over or only on parts? I blushed the entire palms and I think they are look burnt. Should I neutralize and paint only parts? I have Marissa Mays Sera with 1 open hand and 1 curled. Help!
I think they mostly have the brighter blushing on the higher parts, like the feet, Near the thumb, tips of figers, inside and out. On knuckles, and if the plam is closed near the thumb. Please correct me if I,m wrong. XXX June.
Pretty good explaination June! No not the entire palm. I just hate it when my palms look burnt lol! :o Do just part of the fat pad under the thumb, part of the larger pad on the opposite side (the outer part more than the inner), the little pads just at the base of the fingers (still in the palms) and the area where the fingerprints would be (and slightly up to the tips). Be very careful that you don't get this too dark. Yes, you can just neutralize it and go again. That would work just fine. Take a serious look at it after you neutralize to make sure you want to redo. You might just need a little flesh added then to the parts you don't want blushed instead. Look at your own hand for example... the middle of the palm is just plain with no blushing. You want there to be just a hint of blush on the places June and I mentioned.
I was wondering that too. So I decided to do some research (which I'm finding I love to do) and have found colored photos of newborn babys hands, feet, head ect... If you google image "share photos" it will show you a whole list of sites that you can join for free and look at the photos. It's such a great help. The older the baby the less ruddy they are. And one thing I see all too often when a reborn is up for auction is the nails how white the tips are. They look like french manicures. I've never seen a baby with that. (I am totally anal when it comes comparing the kit I'm doing to a real baby and all the little details involved.) I hope this help for anyone. Have a great day! Willa
