Painting on pink tone kit. What's the difference?

Hi All,
I am working with a pink tone doll kit for the first time. Do you have to do anything different?
Thanks!

Yes, you should neutralize the pink color first (it's probably a BB kit right?). I'm sure there is a thread in here about neutralizing the kit color (since we have a lot of people who do Berenguers and BB kits).

Get a good color wheel first and foremost! You will find it invaluable in color corrections!

I can't find anything on pink tons just orange-red tones. On color wheel it looks like for pink a green tone. I am just now learning the color wheel so not sure if I did it right. Does that sound right? Also would I use the green on inside or outside of vinyl?
Thanks!

Ok, first I did a spray (I'm airbrushing) of flesh b/c BB said to apply two coats to correct color which didn't happen so I sprayed two light layers of mint on and it corrected the color. It is now a pinkish grey which now I need to add a yellow. I'm waiting on my yellow paint to get here. This is my second doll and I have to say airbrushing it has been so much easier! It is perfectly even coats and I still get the pores look by spraying it lightly (you can adjust your airbrush gun). I use to tan and airbrush make up so I guess I should work with what I know..lol I thought this may be helpful to those working on BB kits. The BB forum really doesn't have much on it either.

Yes, you add a small spot of pthalo green to your flesh and paint with that first. Good job on the colorwheel!! :)
Then you do your basecoats. BB also uses different colors of Genesis than Secrist does and they have their own method the same as we do. Airbrushing is good cause it works fab on ceramics. If you are airbrushing how are you going to get the mottleing effect and the realistic blushing? I airbrush also but I not THAT good lol.

Well, I am just doing my base coat with airbrushing. I bought some extra limbs to play around with but they are different tone then doll I am working on. I was going to do the the rest by hand. I was thinking I may try pant hose and cut small uneven holes on them then put them on parts and spray. May work may not. All the mesh netting I have (I sew) is to even patterened. I will let you know how it works out.
