Yictorya, Precious Lullabyes posted a lot on the forum a couple of months ago, on how and what and when she uses her paints, you my have to look up the posts that she has posted. Like topics started by her. June M from Oz. Hope this is of some help.

i did look up like u suggested and found some ideas of what she suggests. my baby is coming along fine, i just noticed that the fingers are darker than the rest of the body. i am progessing better with not having the paint sticking between the fingers, ive learned to use a small brush to spread it out and then sponge it.
on the fingers, i use the mop brush to put color on and then use the sponge, whether it is sea sponge or kitchen sponge. ive not had the problem with the fingers being darker before, so it must be the new way i am painting with the mop brush. will have to try different way next time.

I think some where she posted that if it was too dark, you do an over wash of thin flesh 08.June M from Oz.

ok, so is ur name june or sara? hehe lol... make up my mind for me! i will try the wash and see what comes thru. im just about finished with the main part of the doll, almost to the point of doing the shading and then the blushing. still have to buy a body and im going to cheat on this one and get a wig because of my hand.... i do hate the wigs, tho. much rather do them by hand.

thanks for the tip....
:) big smile
