Hi all!!! I was in the craft store today and I saw a bag of crystal fill in the fake flower section. Can this be used to weight dolls confused? The said it was great for floral, crafts and other stuff and safe to use and reuse. The only thing that would have me worried is if it had any sharp points.

I'm not sure what that is. I have heard of people using fishtank gravel, but I still think that poly pellets or glass beads are the way to go. There is a seller on Ebay (I think its hotcocoa) who sells poly pellets in bulk for what works out to about $1 per lb.

You probably could use the crystal fill but you are right! Most of that stuff is sharp, just basically crushed glass. Its better to buy the glass beads
( http://www.secristdolls.com/inc/sdetail/22568 ) or the polypellets ( http://www.secristdolls.com/inc/sdetail/705 ) just to be on the safe side. Just don't use sand as Customs will not only keep your doll but could also destroy it to find out what is in it (if you ship it overseas).
