HELP!!! Ive cooked my doll!

I have completed all my paintwork on my berenguer baby and I am so very pleased with it, except my problem Ive just had tonight, I added the final touches to the nails and baked (130-8 mins) as I always do, except I have got a new oven so I only baked for 6 mins just to be on the safe side but to my horror my babys finger has what looks like a big blister on where the vinyl has expanded, as its cooled its sunk down but it looks awful, Im so so angry, what can I do to repair this mess, I was so pleased with my work aswell and the doll was not cheap crycrycry

This is only a suggestion for you.  If the part is really damaged you might want to think about replacing just he arms.  Sometimes with me, if I mess up one part or if I just don't like the way they are, I'll change the limbs on the kit.
Bountiful  Baby has vinyle parts for sale without buying the whole kit.  The prices are not bad.  I don't think Secrist sells just parts yet.  If you only use one arm you can always use the other for practice.
Like I said, this is only a suggestion.  Maybe someone else has a hint as to how to fix it.  Sometimes goofs are not as bad as you think and you can work around them.    Anyway, good luck to you on your little one.

aww (((karen)))) its horrible when things like this happen if your going to be selling the baby i would definetly try to find a replacment limb for her, unfortunetly i dont know how to fix a finger like this ive never expirienced that happen before, I have heard of other people reheating vinyl and pushing it back into shape then dipping it into ice water this apparently makes it hold the shape might be worth a try (be sure to wear gloves so you dont burn your hands) sorry i cant help more hun (((hugs0))

i've used a drimal sanding drill thingy before. once the vinyl has cooled - i've sanded the area thats blisted or melted out of shape on a toe till it looked properly shaped again. Once i'd painted the area again you couldn't even tell unless i'd told you
