Hi, I just gave my baby (the 1st one I've rooted) her first trim. But it looks so 'cut'. I just used regular scissors, so maybe that's why. But it definitely doesn't have a realistic never-cut look. I actually liked her look better before, with hair covering her ears and all. Does anybody have any tips that I can use on her, or at least on future babies? If I am using the wrong scissors, which ones would you reccomend? Thanks.

I just use some little trimming shears that I got in the hair care aisle at Walmart. Sometimes I also use a razor comb. I think the most important thing is to only cut a small bit off hair at a time. I also make sure that I cut at an angle rather than cutting straight across.
Well I stuffed up, the first two were only Berengur so it didn,t matter, had to root their head of hair quite thick, the boy has a spike and a beanie the girl has a wide ribbon. But with the Secrists kits they have been left natural.June M from Oz
When I use the razor comb I kind of hack at the hair. LOL. I've always rooted from the middle so half the hair is upside down and the other half is upside right. On Juliette I'm going to try and root from the end! YIKES! Wish me luck.
