Can clay be added on to the face of a doll kit to enhance some features? The places I want to enhance are above the eyes and around the mouth.

Tracy,
Yes!!  Do you have a copy of the 2008 Secrist Catalogue/Tutorials?  Complete instructions are in there... I know, I wrote them.

As far as I know there is no clay that dries like vinyl. It is all very hard and breakable. Sorry!

You are very correct Ms R. All of the polymer clays need baking and they all bake hard as rocks (or just about lol). There are no clays that I know of either that are like vinyl when baked. There are no bake clays but they also dry hard and then there are clays that never harden but they don't work cause the clay is always raw.
Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.

Actually good news... this is not entirely true. Polyform makes a product called Sculpey Bake 'n' Bend. The final product is relatively flexible and not super hard like other polymer clays. It is relatively soft once it is conditioned, but it has the property of flexibility once it is cured.

Thanks for that information. I'll have to go and look for some. They probably would carry it anywhere they carry the regular and flesh colored Sculpy.
