I am yet another newbie, seems this art is really catching on! I found out about it after an article in Macleans was done. That is a magazine here in Canada and I have been fascinated ever since. I have been looking here there an every where for info, tips and tricks and this sure seems to be the place to be :0)
I have just ordered my beginers kit with Taffy and a basic rooting kit from Macphersons in Canada. I hope it gets here soon as I can't wait to give it all a try.
Anyone else from B.C. Canada here? Any local suppliers for anything I should no about? I would love to be able to pick up things locally instead of having to wait for the mail, I just want to get going!
By the way i saw the twins Sam and Sera I think they were called, who does them they are gorgeous!
Hi CHristie. Welcome! I am a newbie as well. I just finished my first doll yesterday. It is so much fun. It took about a week for my kit to come. I was as impatient as a kid waiting for Christmas. :) I live in Oregon and I am having a heck of a time finding local dealers of any sort of product related to reborning. All my stuff has to come through the mail. Good luck on your first baby. If you have any questions this is the place to ask. The ladies here are wonderful! Jean
Christie, welcome to the insanity that is reborning!! You picked a great company to get your first kit from. My first reborning kit came from MacPhersons even though I live in the States. They were wonderful to work with. Hope you find someone in your area to share with!! Pat C.

LOL thanks ladies, I get what you mean about being excited as a kid at christmas! I can't wait for my kit to come, and I was bad and ordered another two doll kits today, couldn't resist. I picked out the Louise and Zoe kits too!
Since I am stuck waiting for the kits I figured I will do some shopping for clothes and stuff this weekend. Do you find that regular newborn clothes fit or do you need to go to preemie or custom made clothes? Any one have any other hints for me?
Hello Christie, Welcome to the forum, You need premie cloths for 17" Zoe,0000,s or ooooo,s Have fun playing you will turn out a beautifull creation when you finish, and remember to keep trying.June M from

Hi Christie! Welcome to this nice group! I'm in the lowermainland and learned of a lady out at UBC that offers courses. She probably wouldn't want me to post her name and # but you could get it from Macpherson's. They sent it to me. Her course is starting the end of Aug. Good luck and have fun! Linda
