I watched a segment of a secrist DVD online a few days ago, and they used a product that made "pores" or circles on the skin to create a pore look...can someone tell me what that product is? Thanks.
i think they use a matte glaze. i could be wrong though. I myself tend to use a mix of flesh 08 and very lightly pounce this on in a mix that leaves such tiny spots that it looks like pores, i then go back over the with some of my darker skin tones.
difficult to explain... i think in the artist showcase the best pics that show this effect are probably my acorn or my lollipop.
If it's in one of the Secrist DVd's it's probably done with the berrymakers. I don't believe we have one showing the skin texture that is so new and popular. The technique is called "motteling" and makes the babies skin look like little tiny blotches with different colors of paints and techniques.
We use the blush color to do this. And Danielle shows exactly how to do this in the special reborn technique encyclopedia.
yeah i think there is some confussion over the question here - did you mean pore's a sin the tiny tiny tiny spots and texture of the skin, or did you mean the mottled colouring and skin toneing varuations??
berry makers = mottled effect (or i use a textured kitchen spone myself) pores = either a matte glaze to make the texture of the vinyl feel/look more bumpy and pore like... or as i said above the way i achieve this using painting.
