I bought the DVD "the art of newborning", already watched both discs. ~But I still have a few questions before I actually start... ~Do I cook the doll at 265 or 275...I think it stated both on the DVD ~How long do you cook each time....8 minutes? ~How do you know what colors to use where and how to mix them properly? ~What are all the brushes (names) that are helpful for the lips, nails, creases, ect? ~How do you know the proper color to paint the inside of the doll? Mixing it I mean. Which DVD's do you recommend I get next? I will eventually get them all, but for right now, what is the next one I should buy?
Hi Notalent, As far as helping you with you colours, I think Naomi would be the best to answer most of your questions other than Pat b or Pat C, in Australia our power is 240 volts so I set my oven at 130 degrees, for 10-12 mins but i use inks to paint with untill I can afford to try out the Genesis, I use a cats tongue to paint lips nails and a brush that is a bit firmer for shading Just read in the Secrists Guide to Reborning 2008, 265 Fahrenheit or 130 Celsius for Genesis and it says 6 mins in the oven or two seconds with a heat gun, I,ll give the heat gun a miss. I tried it on my Triplets and 2 of them turned out shiney. June M from Oz
yay for you! I hope your baby turns out wonderfully. I know you are in a different country but how long did it take to get your kit from the time you ordered it?
