Hi everyone!  I have been lurking on the boards for a month or so, so I thought it was time to introduce myself. My name is Jean.   I think reborn dolls are fantastic.  I finally decided to jump in and I ordered my kit for my first doll a few days ago. I am so excited to get started and see if I have half the talent that you ladies have. 
I am done having children (my baby will be 5 on Friday cry ) so I decided reborning babies is the next best thing.

I will let you know how it goes!

I ordered the deluxe beginners kit with missy. I love her little expression. I know I don't get to choose hair color but I am hoping for darker hair.

Hi Jean welcome to the forum ((((hugs)))) I love the missy sculpt she is a beautiful kit to reborn, my little one just turned 5 too last month it will be full time school for her next year and my reborning will become a full time job as well im so looking forward to being able to do it all day everyday it is highly addictive so be prepared hehehe

Welcome, i glad you finally decided to make yourself know. I'm sure you'll find some lovely friendships here.

Missy is a little sweetheart... i just finished my own missy yesterday. I'll probably post so pics int he artist showcase of her later today. She does have such a darling little face.

Hi Jean , that,s my youngest daughters middle name, love it, mine is June , welcome to the forum, it,s  good you stuck your head out from behind the corner. All the ladies here are very helpfull, you just have to ask the question and you,ll get the info your looking for. I made Missy for my eldest daughter because my husbad calls her daughter Macey,, Missy the middle one got Gumdrop and the third got Taffy, I think they are lovely sculps and turned out well for me, as I did them for xmas 2007, after only making 2 Berenguers with a teacher.weirdfaceJune M from Oz. Now I,ll check out where your from.

June:  Jean is also my middle daughter's middle name.  It is a family name that was passed from my grandmother. 
It is so hard to be patient.  I want to get started now.  I have been looking at all the beautiful sculpts they have on ebay.  It is so hard to not just buy them all now!  I guess patience really is a virtue.  biggrin
Thanks for such a warm welcome fro everyone.  I wil let you know when my kit arrives.

Good luck with your first baby!

I think part of the reason newborning and reborning are so successful is because babies grow up so fast!

Loves, that's so true. I feel like I blinked and now my baby is 32 and expecting her baby!
