Like I said before in my "monkey" thread, I like to think outside the box when making things...and I was wondering if there are any shiny, metallic, sparkly, or glittery paints out there that can be used on these doll kits?
Of course I would pain the doll the normal colors and make it look like a real baby and then just tweek it a little...anyone know of any paints that I could use for that?
I really appreciate you guys being so helpful and patient with me and all of my goofy questions
I've seen ppl use gliter paints on fairy babies but i'm not sure what it is they use. I've also seen some ppl paint gothic looking or even demon babies using metalics and such. I assume they mostly use acrylic bases paints with this, but i'm only having a guess
Oh okay, thanks for the heads up...Well, I don't know what to do. What I am really looking for are pastels in shimmery pink, blues, greens, yellows...I have no idea where or what to look for though...
Loves is right; acrylics can't be cooked. I do have one strange thought, but I am not sure if it would work. You could try mixing shimmer make-up (the powders) with a bit of Genesis paints and try that on a test part. But I have no idea if that's safe...
Hi Tracy ive done some searching now i found what they call Ultrafine Art Glitter Opaque im not sure how you use this but Kirsty Black from rebornaustralia.com uses it for her fairies she is a lovely lady im sure if you visit her site and send her an email she will explain how to use it you can find it in her fairy products section (((hugs)))
