I have a potential customer who wants me to make a baby that looks like her son, but the pictures she sent me show the baby with a reddish purple skin tone. Has anyone made a baby that looks like this? I am not sure how to do it, but I am thinking that maybe I can do a purle wash on the outside. Any help would be appreciated.
sounds like you have a photo of a very very newborn bub, here is what i would do paint my skin tones normaly as any baby i do, add my mottling layer ( if youa re doing mottling) then if you have a graphic programe or photo programme ( good tip here :)) take the photo and hold the colour picker over the reddened skin it will show you a colour mix that colour with your paints and put a thin layer on do this until the baby ressembles the colour your after then heat set add your blushing layer then add a gentle purple wash to blend it all together, if you wish to try this and dont know how to get the colour with a colour picker id be happy to help you I have a graphic programme i use all the time for this (((hugs)))
