Well, I'm about half way done with my Ariella. I think she is coming along nicely. The piccys are too pink but here she is. I can't wait to get her done as she looks like my youngest, Amanda, who just moved away from home (but only about 3 miles).
she is such a darling sculpt - i've not done her yet though. I have done both riva's maya and ophilia but she's on my "to do list" with about a million other suclpt
Looks good! What is her head shaped like? Can you take a side view. She is on my want list but I had the nightmare one of rooting an egg-head and I'm not much for trying again!
Here is a sort of side view of Ariella's head and a top view. Her head, although large, is a very good shape. I too look at the shape of the head (along with hands and feet). I am very choosy on which kits I get.
THE only thing I don't like about this kit is that not only are her ears too small, but they are set back way too far and too low on her head. Otherwise I LOVE this sculpt!
I am making her because she looks like my youngest when she was a baby. I have her hair so I'm going to root human hair on this one. Will probably take me forever because Amanda had LOTS of hair when she was born. The nurse had to wash it 3 times to get all the birth stuff out of it and still missed some lol
She is for me and I have a baptismal outfit I will probably put on her. Either that or a frilly (I LOVE frilly) dress and patent leather shoes on her with lacy socks!
Its taking me a long time because I'm using my magnifier and of course seeeeee every little thing.
I love that sculpt too, it will be lovely to see her finished, cant wait. I,ve been putting off doing Starling, she,s my last kit, so I,ll have to do her step by step photo,s.June M from Oz
