Sleepy left AV and rolled over to Secrist and is now Nighty Night!

OK, first of all where are YOU looking?? confused

Also, no no no... Sleepy IS NOT Nighty Night, nor has she ever been!!! Sleepy has always been herself and Nighty Nite (http://www.secristdolls.com/inc/sdetail/27374) is an AV that was a Limited Edition doll face that was run for a while and then retired! She has been reborn to the Secrist side lol and is still not available on the AV side.

See! This is what happens when you have been with AV for 19 years like I have, you get to know allllll the babies and what they were and where they went! :) biggrin

My sincerest apologies Pat . . . someone on Ebay told me that Nighty Night was the old AV Sleepy and they do indeed look the very similar except Sleepy's mouth is more closed. So many of the AV dolls are ending up on the Secrist side, I had no reason to assume Sleepy hadn't migrated there too.

That's ok kiddo! I guess it's just cause I've been an AV dealer for soooooo very long. I know my babies! And you usually deal in the toddlers anyway.

And don't listen to them people on ebay! I'm the one that always has to pm them to either let them know about a doll they're selling or correct them cause THEY JUST DON'T KNOW! :)

Okay, I figured out why I was confused about this. (And I do know my AV babies since they have been around a lot longer than the toddlers.) I was not plugged into the dealer section of the AV site and Sleepy is only listed in the dealer section there. Not sure why but she isn't.
The person on Ebay is running an auction that shows a picture of an unfinished Sleepy kit with Baby limbs, and a picture of the reborned Nighty Night. I remember thinking it was odd that Sleepy's mouth looked more open in the picture of the reborned doll. So I wonder what anyone who buys this is getting, a Sleepy kit or a Nighty Night kit. She is advertising it as the Nighty NIght kit but the unreborned picture of a kit is Sleepy with a baby body.

Sorry Tina, I wasn't insinuating that you didn't know your AV babies, cry

but some dealers were not around when we ran the promo on Nighty Nite.

You may want to nicely let HER know that the 2 are different. Maybe she doesn't know. But be careful, some like to get correct information and some don't. Up to you!

Sleepy is shown on both the regular site and the dealer online store but in the regular site she is shown on the second page with other 22" faces. confused
