Looks good.  But seems a bit pricey.  The $32 is for only a 1/2 oz.  I've never seen mohair priced over $30 for a whole ounce!  I will stick with my supplier who dyes it herself!

OK, it's up to you. But this is THE best mohair I have even seen in my 19 years of making dolls! It's even better than my goat hydes!

And you get what you pay for. I have seen mohair go for as much as $50 per 1/2 oz. But you stick with what you know since you are comfortable with it and it makes your dolls look good. :)

I'm really interested in this new mohair.  I didn't see anything that stated where I could view it or purchase it.  Can you give me more information?  I've been searching for a good quality mohair in a really light carrot color.  The plain carrot is just to bold.

Thank You,
Tesa

Never mind,  I found it.  I didn't see it the first time I looked.  I didn't see the color I needed in that quality of mohair though.

I just had a thought last night about this mohair......I think secrist should come out with a sample of mohair so you can preview the colors and feel of the hair before you buy. Kind of like when you go to the beauty shop and you want your hair colored. They bring out the little key chain of colored hair samples.

If Secrist did this with the mohair.....we could see and feel the different colors and textures of the hair. This way we could buy the sample ring and we could actually feel and see the mohair before we purchased the hair. We could also have the sample mohair to hold up to our babies to help in choosing a hair color. You could sale the samples by the different grades of mohair offered. Put all the lower grades on one ring, middle and premium grades on another.

This is just a thought and I know lots of people would love this.

That's a great idea about the mohair. The only problem is the Ultra mohair is very limited and we don't have enough of the mohair to make samples! Over 1/3 of our entire stock is already sold out. But that's a great idea, I wish we could do it!

We do offer a satisfaction guarantee on the ultra mohair though.  Since it's more of an investment then most mohair we want you to feel comfortable knowing you're buying the best.  If you're not as impressed with this mohair as we are just return it in its original packaging and condition and we'll refund you the full amount!  We're that confident you'll love it! smile

Hi everybody, I am SUPER excited about the new mohair as I know some of our artists in New Zealand just want THE BEST available on their babies - my ONLY trouble I have is taking good enough photo's of any mohair to promote it - colour never looks the same, and I have used various cameras and my newest camera IS a good one. I want to get my shipment of mohair listed but want brilliant photo's of it to show if off!smile

If you are one of our Secrist dealers there in NZ then you can right click and save any photos of the mohair and put it on your site (just be sure you state on there that all photos are used with the permission of Secrist Dolls).

If you are not a Secrist dealer then I can only tell you to put a disclaimer on your website with YOUR photos that states colors may vary due to the differences of color monitors. That is what some companies do. That way you can use your own pictures.
