Which paint (not premixed) should I use for eyebrows? For lighter brows, what mixture would I need? Thanks.

Thank you very much for the tip. Could I substitute the pre-mixed Periwinkle Blue paint (originally intended for the internal wash) for the Ultramarine Blue? As I would like to limit the paints I have to buy (I'm going to buy them individually so I can use the strawberry paints), this would cut one extra paint off of the list I have to get. If I did use the Periwinkle Blue, should I change the usual ratio used with Ultramarine Blue? And, oh yes, what is the ratio of Burnt Umber to the Blue color? If anyone else has any different brow mixes that they use, I'd be glad to hear about them, too. Thank you all so much.

i use pretty simalar mixes as what Leah has already mentioned. I have at times added a "toothpick" amount of mars black to the burnt Umber for really dark babies.

periwinkle is more a purple than a blue the blue takes the orange out of the burnt umber you could try it and see how it goes, ratios oh boy i just get some and add lol but i would say if you had half teaspoon of burnt umber you would add just under a 1/4 teaspoon ultra marine blue thats an awful lot of paint but i dont know how to measure on my brushes but you get the idea more burnt umber than blue, test on a part if you can if it looks to orange add more blue, your looking for a lovely dark brown ((hugs)))

Thank you so much everyone. Just one clarification, please. Tiny Earth Angels, are you saying that the periwinkle won't work, or that it's not the best, but it will work?

periwinkle will make it a bit more "auburn" tinged. It is a warm based blue, ultramarine is a cool based blue. It will work, but you might need a tiny dab of black to "grey" it out some more. Also, ultramarine is a strong colour, periwinkle is a mild colour - you might need to just play around a little bit with mixing the colours...
