Hi Everyone: I joined this forum, for tips and, help, on reborning my very first doll kit. Before I start painting, I have a couple of questions The doll kit that I am reborning is the Arianna Awake doll kit by reva schick. She was made in Germany, from high quality german vinyl, which is peach in color. I need to find out, if I have to pre-wash her, before sealing, and, painting her? I have searched the internet, and have come across, some artists who say to pre-wash and others who say, you do not have to, since the vinyl is peach in color; that you only have to pre-wash pink and, grey vinyl. So, could someone, who has been reborning, for a long time, tell me, what is the correct method? This doll kit is very special to me, because I am keeping her, for myself, and, I do not want to mess her up. Also, she is not coming with a COA. Does this mean that she is not a true reborn doll kit, and, that she does not have a high value to her? I truly do not know, all the ins and outs of this reborning businees. I just came across the Arianna Awake doll, completed, and, I fell in love with her. I wanted to have, one, of my own. My own little special girl. I know it sounds odd, but, what can I say, I was hooked when I saw this doll. Thanks, to everyone, who reads this post, and, can answer my questions.
